 Yoga can be a helpful way to boost our immunity system and decrease inflammation (anti-inflammatory response) in the body. Inflammation is a natural part of the immune response against infection.   

 

 Yoga helps by lowering stress hormones that compromise the immune system. It stimulating the lymphatic system to remove toxins from the body by bringing oxygenated blood to the various organs .Thus ensures optimal health by conditioning the lungs and respiratory tract.

 


Pranayama   











Stay for as long as it feels good but at least 10 deep breaths

 


Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Lord of the Fishes)










Stay for 5 breaths on each side





Supported Fish Pose (Matsyasana Variation)











Stay in this pose for 1-5 minutes





Uttanasana  (Forward Fold )






Stay here for 5-10 breaths or as long as feels good
